The lands of Sacrony, situated in what is now modern Western Europe, are colloquially known as the “Land of a Thousand Kings.” This name reflects the fractured nature of the region, where countless feudal lords vie for dominance, their endless rivalries shaping the lives of those they rule. Despite the near-constant strife, the region is bound together by the ideals of Chivalry and the unifying influence of the Church, which serves as a stabilizing force amid the chaos.

The magic of the Source has brought great blessings to the land, protecting the population from famine and disease, and allowing the lords to raise vast armies.

These forces consist of countless peasants, supported by noble knights, court wizards wielding arcane power, and warrior priests who channel divine magic to defend their faith. Together, they form the backbone of Sacrony’s war machine, enabling the feudal lords to maintain their dominance.

Defensive Magic
